This meeting was held in compliance with
the electronic participation provisions of the Municipal Emergency Act, 2020
and the Town of Oakville Procedure By-law 2020-011, as amended.
Declarations of Pecuniary Interest
Councillor Knoll declared a
pecuniary interest with respect to Clause 3 of Item 2 – 2021 Budgets for
Business Improvement Areas, as he is the
shareholder, Director, and CEO of a corporation that is a member of the Kerr
Village Business Improvement Area (BIA).

for Halton Court Services and the accompanying Reserve Fund transfers, as
detailed in the report from the Finance department dated February 9, 2021

the Downtown Oakville Business Improvement Area, requiring a levy of
$1,148,382, as shown in Appendix A, be approved.

the Bronte Village Business Improvement Area, requiring a levy of $351,500,
as shown in Appendix B, be approved.
|

4.
|
That the relevant Board of Management
approve any subsequent revision or reallocation of funds, within these
budgets. The resolution shall be provided to the Treasurer, or designate of
the town, who shall determine the significance of the change and advise if
it requires Council approval.

5.
|
That the Boards of Management ensure
that the procurement of supplies and services, within the approved budgets,
meet the requirements of the town’s Purchasing By-law.

That the Town Solicitor be authorized
to execute all documents required to complete this transaction.

That the Oakville Municipal Development
Corporation be paid a management fee of $25,000 for its work on marketing
and securing a buyer for Block 7 upon successful completion of the
transaction.

That the Town transfer $500,000 to the
Oakville Municipal Development Corporation for costs incurred and to be
incurred in the coming months.
