PUBLIC HEARING STATEMENT

If a person or public body does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submissions to Council on a proposed Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment and/or Plan of Subdivision or Condominium, before a decision is made, the person or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of Oakville Council to the Local Planning Appeal Tribunal (LPAT); and may not be added as a party to the hearing of an appeal before the LPAT.

DELEGATIONS

Should you wish to speak at this meeting to address an item on the agenda, you may register with the Clerk’s department by noon the day of the meeting at 905-815-6015 or by email - [email protected].

Alternatively, the Chair will invite anyone wishing to speak in the audience  

to come forward at the appropriate time during the meeting. Delegations shall be permitted to speak for a maximum of ten minutes per agenda item. Should you have any handouts, 20 copies are required if you would like them distributed to the members during your presentation, or you may provide a copy to the Clerk which will be scanned and forwarded to the members after the meeting.  Also, should you wish to use a PowerPoint presentation, please forward it to the Clerk’s department at [email protected] by noon the day of the meeting.

 

 

CONDUCT AT MEETING

In accordance with Council’s Procedure By-law, attendees at a meeting shall maintain order and quiet and shall not display signs or placards, applaud, heckle or engage in telephone or other conversation, or any behaviour which may be considered disruptive, inconsiderate, disrespectful or intimidating to others.

Halton Region 2020 Allocation Program

5–30

 

-           Report from Planning Services Department and Finance Department, March 4, 2020

 

 

Recommendation:

1.

That the report entitled Halton Region 2020 Allocation Program, from the Planning Services and Finance Departments, dated March 4, 2020, be received;

 

2.

That Halton Region be requested to allocate servicing to lands in North Oakville, in accordance with this report;

 

3.

That Halton Region be requested to accelerate the servicing of lands north of Dundas Street between Tremaine Road and Regional Road 25;

 

4.

That the Director of Planning Services be authorized to endorse any minor changes to the distribution of servicing allocation which may arise as Halton Region advances the program, and the subsequent transfer of allocation units between other Oakville properties; and

 

5.

That the Town Clerk provide a copy of this report, and Council’s resolutions, to Halton Region, the City of Burlington and the Towns of Milton and Halton Hills.
