HEARING STATEMENT
If a person or public body
does not make oral submissions at a public meeting or make written submission
to the Council of the Town of Oakville in respect of a proposed Official Plan Amendment,
Zoning By-law Amendment and/or Plan of Subdivision or Condominium, the person
or public body is not entitled to appeal the decision of Town Council to the
Ontario Municipal Board; and may not be added as a party to the hearing of an
appeal before the Ontario Municipal Board unless, in the opinion of the Board,
there are reasonable grounds to do so.

As of March 21,
2016, live streaming video of Oakville Council meetings will be available on
oakville.ca/live. Council videos previously available on TownTV are now hosted
on the town’s YouTube channel at youtube.com/user/TownofOakvilleTV.

Council’s Procedure By-law, attendees at a meeting shall maintain order and
quiet and shall not display signs or placards, applaud, heckle or engage in
telephone or other conversation, or any behaviour which may be considered
disruptive, inconsiderate, disrespectful or intimidating to others.
