The Committee of the Whole - Midtown Oakville met in regular session, this 18th day of July, 2023, in the Council Chamber of the Oakville Town Hall, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, commencing at 6:30 p.m.

 

These minutes will go forward to the Council meeting of August 15, 2023, for approval. Please view those minutes to note any changes Council may have made.

Mayor Burton called for nominations to be recommended by the Committee of the Whole – Midtown Oakville to the Mayor for the positions of Chair and Vice-Chair of the Committee of the Whole - Midtown Oakville for the term of office ending upon completion of the mandate and dissolution of the committee, to be appointed by the Mayor. 

Councillor Nanda nominated Councillor Duddeck for the position of Chair and Councillor Longo for the position of Vice-Chair of the Committee of the Whole - Midtown Oakville, to be appointed by the Mayor.  

There being no further nominations put forth, the nominations were closed on a motion by Councillor Elgar. 

Councillors Duddeck and Longo accepted the nominations.

  • Moved byCouncillor Nanda

    That the Mayor appoint Councillor Duddeck as Chair and Councillor Longo as Vice-Chair of the Committee of the Whole - Midtown Oakville for the term of office ending upon completion of the mandate and dissolution of the committee.

     

  • The Mayor transferred the chair.


  • Moved byCouncillor McNeice

    That the Committee of the Whole – Midtown Oakville provide any comments for staff’s consideration in respect of presentation from the Midtown consultant team.
