The Town of Oakville Council met in special session to consider planning matters on this 25^th day of February, 2014 in the Council Chamber of the Oakville Municipal Building, 1225 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, commencing at 7:00 p.m.

That By-law 2014-013, a by-law to adopt Official Plan Amendment Number 4 to the Livable Oakville Plan, be passed.

 

 

2.	Recommendation Report, Town of Oakville Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2014-014 (inZone Project) (File No. 42.25)

Moved by Councillor Knoll

1. That pursuant to subsection 34(17) of the Planning Act, no further notice is determined to be necessary for the changes made to proposed By‑law 2014‑014;

 

2. That the Town of Oakville Comprehensive Zoning By-law 2014-014 be passed, as revised;

 

3. That Council authorize the Director of Building Services to waive minor variance application fees where a second application is necessary to obtain the same relief under both Zoning By-law 1984-63 and Zoning By-law 2014‑014;

 

 

4. That the work of the inZone Subcommittee be deemed complete and that the subcommittee be sunsetted; and

 

5. That By-law 2014-030, a by-law to clarify zoning references in other by‑laws as a result of the 2014 Zoning By-law, be passed.

 

The Mayor called for a recorded vote on Items 1 and 2 concurrently.

A by-law to restrict the use of land and the erecting, locating, or using of buildings or structures, and to regulate the use of land, buildings, and structures (Town of Oakville Zoning By-law), as revised.  (Re: Item 2)

A by-law to clarify references in other by-laws as a consequence of the 2014 Zoning By-law.  (Re: Item 2)

 

2014-041

A by-law to confirm the proceedings of a meeting of Council.
