  • Recommendation:

    That the minutes from the Community Spirit Awards of May 27, 2025 be received.

  • Recommendation:

    That the names of all new Parks and Open Spaces, as listed within Table 1 and Table 3 of the report dated June 10, 2025, be approved.

  • Recommendation:
    1. That the information contained in the staff report dated June 10, 2025, entitled March 31, 2025 Financial Results from the Finance Department, be received.
    2. That the 2025 capital budget be amended to add a new project with a budget of $905,000 funded from the Capital Reserve for repairs of creek bank failure along 16 Mile Creek in Hogs Back Park.

  • Recommendation:
    1. That By-law 2025-110, a by-law to authorize entry on adjoining property for the purpose of making repairs or alterations, attached as Appendix A to the report from Municipal Enforcement Services dated June 10, 2025, be passed, and that By-law 1970-101 be repealed. 

      1. That By-law 2025-111, a by-law to amend Administrative Penalties for Non-Parking Violations and Orders By-law 2021-038, as amended, attached as Appendix B to the report from Municipal Enforcement Services dated June 10, 2025, be passed.
  • Recommendation:

    That staff be authorized to grant a hydro easement to Oakville Hydro on Town land beside Athabasca Pond shown as Part 1 on the draft plan attached to this report as Appendix “B”, to service the adjacent development blocks, provided the owner of those development blocks pays the Town fair market value compensation for the easement to the satisfaction of the CAO and Town Solicitor.

  • Recommendation:
    1. That By-law 2025-082, a by-law to prohibit and regulate the sale and discharge of fireworks within the Town of Oakville, and to repeal By-law 2009-056, attached as Appendix A to the report from Municipal Enforcement Services dated June 10, 2025 be passed.
    2. That By-law 2025-083, a by-law to amend Licensing By-law 2015-075 attached as Appendix B to the report from Municipal Enforcement Services dated June 10, 2025 be passed.
    3. That the Rates and Fees Schedule for Municipal Enforcement Services – Licensing be amended to delete fees for fireworks vendor.
  • Recommendation:
    1. That the maximum allowable duration for on-street parking in the Town of Oakville be increased from three (3) hours to five (5) hours between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m.

    2. That a year-round, town-wide prohibition on overnight on-street parking between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. be implemented to replace the current seasonal and location-based restrictions.

    3. Subject to the approval of recommendations 1 and 2, that staff be directed to prepare a by-law to amend the Traffic By-law 1984-1 and present it to Council for approval at a future meeting.

  • Recommendation:
    1. That the report dated June 10, 2025, entitled 2026 Municipal Election Contribution Rebate Program, from the Clerk’s Department, be received for information.

A by-law to authorize entry on adjoining property for the purpose of making repairs or alterations and to repeal By-law 1970-101 (Re: Item 9.3)

A by-law to amend Administrative Penalties for Non-Parking Violations and Orders By-law 2021-038 (Re: Item 9.3)
